ATM, an NPC within the City, gives the Unlock NBA 2K22 MT Spawn Points sidequest. The players must run 26.2 miles to complete the quest. The player must run the distance on feet. This doesn't include the use of a BMX skateboard, skateboard or rollerblades. Furthermore, the user must be running, not walking. The progress indicator will be displayed in the left-hand sidebar of the screen when the quest is being tracked. This lets players check how far they've completed their run.
The total distance is tracked over time and doesn't need to be completed all at once. It's important to keep in mind that running at a slow pace won't count. Players must also keep in mind that running continuously in a straight line will not work if they encounter obstacles. Once players reach the 26.2 miles and have completed the quest, all of the spawn points are automatically unlock. The spawning point can be added to the map in one of seven locations.
