Pokemon GO Players Demand Return of Shadow Absol

Pokemon GO players have expressed growing frustration over the prolonged absence of Shadow Absol from the game. The Dark-type Pokemon, originally introduced in December 2019, was last available in February 2020 and has not reappeared since.

The lack of Shadow Absol is particularly puzzling given the regular rotation of other Shadow Pokemon through Team GO Rocket events. While the pool of available Shadow Pokemon has decreased in recent months, the complete omission of Absol for over four years is seen as an oversight by many players.

Adding to the disappointment, Mega Absol, the evolved form of Absol, also experienced a similar absence from the game. Despite being reintroduced to raids, it was abruptly removed earlier than planned, further exacerbating player frustration.

The issue extends beyond Shadow Absol, as other Pokemon like Delibird and Carvanha have also been missing from the game for extended periods. The inconsistent availability of certain Pokemon has led players to question Niantic's approach to content updates and rotation.

As the Pokemon GO community continues to grow, players are calling for greater attention to be paid to the availability of different Pokemon, particularly those that have been absent for significant periods. The return of Shadow Absol and other missing Pokemon would be a welcome addition to the game and could help to revitalize interest in Team GO Rocket events.
