MultiVersus Reveals Two New Characters for Season 2: Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice

MultiVersus has announced two new characters that will be joining its diverse roster, which includes characters from popular cartoons, superheroes, and villains from various franchises.

During EVO 2024, MultiVersus officially revealed Season 2: Back in Time, set to launch on July 23. This season will introduce the much-anticipated Ranked Mode, where players can compete in 1v1 and 2v2 matches to earn leaderboard points and unlock exclusive rank-based rewards. Additionally, a new Water Tower map, inspired by the iconic Warner Bros. Studio water tower in Burbank, California, will be released.

With Season 2's theme of time travel, MultiVersus is debuting two nostalgic characters: Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice. Players can wield Samurai Jack's mystical katana and quick reflexes to send opponents flying off the map. Classified as a Bruiser, Samurai Jack will also feature an alternate skin called Righteous Warrior Jack, available for purchase at launch. Beetlejuice, the iconic and entertaining character from the '80s, was also teased during EVO, though his combat class has yet to be revealed.
