Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Major Update with New Divergent Universe Rewards

A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail has hinted at a substantial update to the "Divergent Universe," promising a wealth of new rewards, including a significant amount of Stellar Jades. The Divergent Universe, the latest addition to the game’s popular Simulated Universe mode, introduced new weekly challenges, Curios, and various rewards for players. Now, it appears that this game mode is set to receive a major expansion in an upcoming patch.

Honkai: Star Rail has a history of introducing new spinoffs to the Simulated Universe. The RPG's roguelike challenges were first expanded in Version 1.3 with the launch of "Swarm Disaster," and later with the "Gold & Gears" update in Version 1.6, each adding unique mechanics to the game. Now, the Divergent Universe is poised for its own significant update.

According to prominent leaker HomDGCat, the upcoming update will increase the Divergent Universe's level cap from 60 to 80, bringing with it a variety of rewards. Players can expect to receive 120 Stellar Jades for every fifth level from 61 to 80, while the intermediate levels will provide a range of EXP resources. Additionally, Relic Remains will be available as rewards, allowing players to craft new Relics in the game.

In addition to these rewards, the update is rumored to introduce new content for the Divergent Universe. This includes six new Weighted Curios, nine new Blessings, and various Equations, all set to enhance the game mode further. The Version 2.5 update, which will introduce these changes, is scheduled to launch on September 4.

Version 2.5 will not only update the Divergent Universe but also introduce new characters. Two new five-star characters, Lingsha and Feixiao, are set to debut, along with Moze, a new four-star unit whose voice actor has already been changed ahead of his release. With these updates, Honkai: Star Rail players have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.
