Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals New Bosses for Apocalyptic Shadow Mode

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak has unveiled two new bosses, Doomsday Beast and Kafka, set to appear in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode. In this mode, players face formidable enemies, including boss versions of characters, to earn rewards. Similar to Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos, the stages and enemies in Apocalyptic Shadow are regularly updated, offering fresh challenges. Players receive additional rewards upon reaching specific milestones by defeating foes.

Honkai: Star Rail's Apocalyptic Shadow is designed to provide a real combat challenge against powerful enemies, requiring players to build well-rounded teams to progress through the stages and defeat the entire enemy lineup. The leak from HomDGCat revealed that the new bosses, Doomsday Beast and Kafka, will be introduced in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode soon. These bosses are expected to be more powerful than their regular versions encountered in the Herta Space Station and Xianzhou Lufou regions. According to the leak, they will appear in Apocalyptic Shadow in version 2.4 of Honkai: Star Rail, which is set to launch later this month.
Players can anticipate that Doomsday Beast: Starbane Doombringer and Kafka: Soulhook Sovereign will possess additional attacks and abilities, making them tougher to defeat. Some Honkai: Star Rail fans on Reddit speculate that Huohuo's rerun in version 2.4 is intended to help counter Kafka's mechanics.

Apocalyptic Shadow features various stages where Trailblazers battle formidable bosses. Each stage has an Action Value Timer, determining the points awarded at the end of the battle. As players accumulate more points, they receive additional rewards. If the early leaks are accurate, completing the mode in version 2.4 will be more challenging.
