Earlier in December, adidas debuted the Shop Adidas Ozweego Celox, a new take on the heritage model that proffers a futurism more subdued than many of the interpretations prior. The silhouette now, following its OG-inspired “Neon” colorway, is dressing up in a few tonal renditions, this pair here adopting a greyscale palette. Though its panels of synthetic and mesh are hued similarly, the separation is still overtly noticeable thanks in part to the color blocking.

Printed orange detailing appears on the rear, and the adiPRENE midsole calls upon ever-so-soft sail tones for a gentle contrast with the upper’s base.
Although modern-day sneaker lovers may mainly associate the Adidas Ozweego Sale line with Raf Simons thanks to the designer’s long-running spate of collaborations, it’s in fact a late ’90s Three Stripes running classic, one that’s set to make a return to market this year. It’s already surfaced in both a bold rainbow-soled variant and been revealed in an airy "Nose Candy Mandy" makeup for Pusha T‘s recent Coachella performance, but now it’s set to release in an eye-catching mixture of green shades.
Made to look near futuristic, the upper has been removed of its usual materials and replaced with a layer that’s partially see-through.
